The Brief
Our role was to launch Magners Golden Draught to the UK on-trade. We were briefed to create an ownable identity for the brand, which sat within the Magners family but differentiate the product against Magners packaged. The product was made from small, harder to crush apples, which gave it its crisper, more refreshing taste; it was this taste benefit that really resonated with consumers and helped to drive trial.
Our Solution
We used this insight as the lynchpin for our brand communications dramatising the harder to crush apples in a series of retro style illustrations dialling into the eccentric and quirky Magners tone of voice.
